Check out Muse Bar at Thanon Sanambin (the old airport road). Run by their resident DJ Skin and Pi Too. Amazing décor, delish cocktails, snacks, and a great ambience will have you dancing your socks off. Try it on a Sunday, Monday, Wednesday or Thursday night.
At the Legend Chiang Rai Resort, you will find the Suan Chai Nam BBQ Restaurant and Beer Garden. On the Mae Kok River, in luscious garden surroundings, this makes the perfect place for a relaxing evening, with the BBQ food, live music, draught beer, and scrumptious cocktails.
Easy Bar - it's, well, easy! Open all day on Thanon Jet Yot, it's not just about the bar, but you can also eat here, read the paper, or watch cable TV.
The Cellar Pub can be found in the Dusit Island Resort, and only opens during the evenings. As a traditional English pub, they offer a wide range of drinks including spirits, wine, draught beer, plus fabulous cocktails, light snacks, and games! Visit for snooker, darts, chess, and dominoes in a setting for 50 on the ground floor of the hotel. Open from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am.
Also in the Dusit Island Resort, you can find the Lobby Lounge with tea, coffee and magnificent cocktails to wile away the time. Enjoy the house musicians that perform every evening, and they open from 10:00 am to midnight daily.
Try to discover Reggae Bar somewhere in the Night Bazaar alley. Opening from 8:00 pm onwards, you can enjoy the excellent variety of music and drinks.
The Wangcome Hotel on Pemawibhata Road has a music room open from 7:00 pm until midnight, and they provide live karaoke entertainment and dancing on their massive, purpose built dance floor.
Bo's Place lies on Thanon Phahon Yotin, about 100 metres from the bus station. This makes the place for local farangs to chill out with a beer and a meal.
